If you’re a sower, your generosity helps young people try something small, grow in confidence, and be shaped as future evangelists.
Funding for evangelism can be hard to find. JustSow directs money to creative evangelists so mission can multiply.

The story behind the name
A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.

What is a Micro Seed?
A Micro Seed is a one-off $1,000 seed offered to students once a year through a JustSow campaign commencing in April. This campaign is delivered in partnership with Spheres and Mustard, working directly through schools and student networks to empower young leaders to live out their faith boldly.
Micro Seeds exists to help students take a first step with a gospel-centred idea they are ready to try. They are about beginnings. They are not about having everything figured out.

You can apply if you: are a student aged roughly 11–18, live in Australia, have a gospel-centred idea you are ready to try and are willing to take a first step.
You don’t need to be a leader, have a platform, or have done this before.
We are looking for faithfulness and readiness, not perfection.
