1. About Us
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the JustSow website, applications, and services.
- “JustSow”, “we”, “our” or “us” refers to; Australia JustSow Giving Limited (ABN 49678313016), a Company Limited by Guarantee incorporated in Australia; United Kingdom: JustSow Giving, a Registered Charity (No. 1211941) and Charitable Company Limited by Guarantee incorporated in England and Wales under the Companies Act 2006 and registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
- “Creative Evangelists” or “Applicants” are individuals or organisations who apply for Seeds.
- “Sowers” or “Donors” are individuals or organisations who provide funding through JustSow.
- “Website” means www.justsow.au www.justsow.uk and www.justsow.org, along with associated digital platforms.
By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1.2 Fundraising Compliance (Australia)
JustSow Giving Limited (ABN 49 678 313 016) is authorised to fundraise throughout Australia. We hold the following state and territory fundraising licences and registrations:

WA: CC24018
SA: Not required
TAS: C/11571
ACT: Not required
NT: Not required
JustSow complies with all relevant state and territory charitable fundraising laws and reporting obligations.
2. Eligibility
- Applicants must be aged 18 or older, or aged 11–17 applying with the consent of a parent/guardian and church leader.
- Donors must be 18 or older and legally able to make donations in Australia.
- Applicants warrant that their project ideas are original and do not infringe the rights of third parties.
- UK applicants must comply with the Charities Act 2011 and relevant safeguarding, fundraising, and data-protection laws.
3. For Creative Evangelists (Applicants)
By submitting an application, you agree that:
- Your project is local and gospel-centred.
- You consent to JustSow publishing your project (in public or private mode).
- You will provide reporting as requested (e.g. “JustSown” at the start and “JustGrown” at the end).
- Only one Seed (Micro, Small or Regular) is available in your first application round.
- You grant JustSow a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your project materials (including videos, text, and images) for promotional, fundraising, and reporting purposes.
- You will act in accordance with our Safeguarding, Privacy, and Financial policies.
JustSow reserves the right to decline or remove any application that does not meet our mission, standards, or legal obligations.
4. For Sowers (Donors)
By giving through JustSow, you agree that:
- Project information will be shared to help you decide where to Sow.
- Your anonymity will be respected unless you choose otherwise.
- Any donor details you provide must be kept secure and used only for giving purposes.
- Donations are processed through trusted third-party providers (e.g. Raisely, Stripe).
Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation has been made in error, please contact us within 14 days at GATEKEEPER@justsow.org. Refunds may be provided at our discretion and in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and UK Charity Commission Guidance.
Tax Deductibility: Unless otherwise stated, donations to JustSow Australia are not tax-deductible
Gift Aid (UK only): If you are a UK taxpayer and opt in to Gift Aid, JustSow may reclaim basic-rate tax on your donation under the Finance Act 1990 and HMRC rules. You are responsible for informing us of any change to your tax status.
5. General Rules for All Users
- Projects are published for up to 6 months unless funded sooner.
- JustSow may update, suspend, or remove any project or user profile at any time.
- You must not misuse the Website (e.g. hacking, uploading harmful material, infringing copyright, or posting offensive content).
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details.
- Users must comply with all applicable laws in their country of residence, including anti-money-laundering and anti-terror-financing laws.
6. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy & Data Protection Policy, which complies with:
- The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles; and
- The UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.
By using our services, you consent to your information being collected and used as described there.

7. Intellectual Property
- All content on the JustSow website (including our name, logo, designs, and written materials) is owned by or licensed to JustSow.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify this content without our written consent.
- Applicants retain ownership of their project content but grant JustSow the licence described in Section 3.
- All intellectual property must be used in a way that honours the gospel and respects others’ rights.
8. Liability & Disclaimers
- We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that all information on the website is complete, reliable, or error-free.
- JustSow is not liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising from:
- Projects not achieving intended outcomes;
- Technical issues, downtime, or interruptions;
- Use of third-party links or services connected to our website.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law and Consumer Rights Act 2015), JustSow excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be lawfully excluded under UK or Australian law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective once published on our Website. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
- For users based in Australia, these Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
- For users based in the United Kingdom, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Scottish projects are governed by OSCR oversight and guidance.
If a dispute arises, we encourage resolution through Christian principles of reconciliation (Matthew 18) before seeking formal legal remedies.

- Regulators or authorities, if legally required
We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third parties.
Where data is transferred between Australia and the UK, or stored with secure international cloud providers, we ensure it is protected to the standards required under both the APPs and the UK GDPR.
How long we keep your data
We keep application and donation records for up to 2 years, unless required longer for auditing, financial, or legal purposes. After this, data is securely deleted.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to understand usage and improve user experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function properly.
Your rights
Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request corrections to your information
- Ask for your information to be deleted, where legally possible
